EXPERTS IN PROPERTY LETTING
We have helped hundreds of people move into a new home.
Come and talk to us about what you’re looking for and we’ll be pleased to help you reach your goal.
Please ring or come in and speak to our advisers about your particular circumstances, and we can give you more detail about what you need to do and what will happen. We can also help by putting you in contact with surveyors, conveyancers, rent advisors etc if you wish.
If you’ve rented a property before, you probably know what happens during the renting process, but in case you’ve forgotten or you’re a first time tenant here’s a quick summary of what happens.
Make sure you have some money set aside. To move in you will need to pay the first month’s rent, a deposit and some fees. Speak to us about what you’re looking for and we can give you a rough total figure.
Look on our website as well as the usual portals and talk to one of our advisers to let them know what you want. Property moves very quickly, so talk to us first.
Once you’ve found the property, let us know and then come into our offices to start the application process and reserve the property.
If you want to complete the application process in one visit, don’t forget identity papers, money for fees, bank details etc so that you have all the information we need. Ring before you come in so we can check you’ve got everything to hand. You’ll need to pay us a fee to process your application – for details see below.
We will then process your application, including taking credit and other references, confirming the rent and deposit, and taking your application fee. Once this is done and we have all the information back, we will recommend you to the landlord.
When the landlord has accepted, we will draw up the tenancy agreement for you and get all the paperwork ready for signing.
Finally, you’ll come in and check through and sign the tenancy agreement. You’ll need to pay the deposit and first months rent, and then you’ll be ready to go. On the move in date, come and collect your keys and we’ll check you in!
